Your website, on your own domain
Every site starts on a relivo address so you can share it immediately. When you are ready for the real thing, connect a domain you own, and we take care of the certificate and the renewals for as long as it stays connected.
One record to add
We show you the exact DNS entry to create at your registrar. Add it, press verify, and the page tells you the moment it resolves.
The certificate is our job
HTTPS is issued automatically and renewed before it expires. There is nothing to buy, install, or remember.
Nobody else can claim it
A domain can only be connected to one relivo project. If someone else has already claimed it, we say so instead of failing quietly later.
How to turn it on
- 1
Open Publish on your project and expand More settings.
- 2
Enter the domain you own and save it — we show you the DNS record to add.
- 3
Add that record at your registrar, then press Check DNS. Verified turns green as soon as it resolves.
The part that usually goes wrong
Connecting a domain is where most people building their first website get stuck. The instructions live at your registrar, the certificate lives somewhere else, and the failure modes are silent: a record that looks right but points at the wrong thing, a certificate that expires eleven months later while you are not looking.
We narrowed it to a single record and a button that tells you the truth. Until DNS actually resolves to us, the status stays unverified — no optimistic green tick that leaves you wondering why the site is not loading. Once it does resolve, the certificate is issued in the background and renewed on its own from then on.
Your domain stays yours throughout. You registered it, you keep paying for it, and you can point it somewhere else whenever you like. Disconnecting it does not touch the project — the site simply goes back to being reachable at its relivo address.
www and the bare domain
Both work. Visitors reaching one are sent to the other, so there is only ever one address in the search engines.
Checked before it is saved
We check the domain is not already in use on relivo before storing it, so two projects can never fight over the same name.
Disconnect without losing anything
Remove the domain and the project keeps working on its relivo address. Nothing about your website is lost in the move.
