Privacy policy
What we collect, where it lives, who else touches it, and how to get it out or deleted.
Last updated 18 August 2026
relivo is a website builder: you describe a website, we generate it, and you can publish it on a domain of your own. This page describes what that involves for your data. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The service is operated by [operator legal name], [address], Switzerland. Questions, requests and complaints: privacy@relivo.ch.
What we collect
Your account
Your email address, and the sign-in records tied to it. We use passwordless sign-in, so we never receive or store a password for your relivo account.
What you build
The prompts and messages you send in a project's chat, the website code generated from them, any images you upload or generate, and the version history of the project. This is the substance of your account and we keep it so you can come back to it.
Usage and billing
Credit consumption per project, your plan and its status, and a Stripe customer identifier. We never see your card details. Card data goes directly to Stripe and is never sent to or stored on our systems.
Technical data
Requests to relivo carry the usual technical information: IP address, browser, and the approximate city and country Cloudflare derives from the IP. We use the coarse location only to tailor an example sentence on our home page, and the rest for security, abuse handling and keeping the service up. We do not build profiles from it.
Messages sent to websites you publish
If your published website has a contact form, submissions to it are stored in your account and emailed to the address you nominate. That data belongs to you and to the person who sent it: we hold it on your behalf, we do not use it for anything of our own, and you are the one responsible for telling your own visitors what you do with it.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
- We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking of any kind.
- We currently load no analytics at all. The analytics option in our cookie settings exists so that if we ever add one, it stays off until you switch it on.
- We do not use your projects to train AI models. See below for what the model does see.
Where your data is stored
Your account and project database runs on Supabase in Zurich, Switzerland. Your generated website files, backups, and published sites are stored and served on Cloudflare's network, which is global by design — content is cached and served close to your visitors.
Who else processes it
We use a small number of providers. Each one only gets what its job requires.
| Provider | What for | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database and sign-in | Account, projects, chat history, form submissions |
| Cloudflare | Hosting, build containers, storage, published sites | Requests, website files, backups |
| Google (Gemini) | Generating and editing your website | Your prompts and the project files being worked on |
| Stripe | Payments and subscriptions | Email, payment details you enter on Stripe, plan status |
| Resend | Sending email | Recipient address and message content |
| Pexels | Stock photo search | The search term only — never your project or account |
Some of these are outside Switzerland and the EU. Where that is the case, transfers rest on the providers' standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards.
The AI model
When you ask relivo to build or change something, your message and the relevant project files are sent to Google's Gemini model through Cloudflare's AI Gateway. That is the only way the feature can work. The requests are made under terms that do not permit your content to be used to train the model.
Cookies and what is stored in your browser
We keep this short because there is not much of it. What we set is necessary for the service to function:
- Sign-in session — keeps you logged in.
- Security — protects against forged requests.
- Stripe — set during checkout and for fraud checks when you buy a plan.
- Your cookie choice — stored in your browser's local storage, not as a cookie, so we remember not to ask again.
You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer of any page.
How long we keep things
- Projects — until you delete them.
- Backups of your website — kept alongside the project so it can be restored, and removed when the project is.
- Form submissions — until you delete them or the project they belong to.
- Billing records — kept as long as accounting law requires, which is ten years in Switzerland, even after you close your account.
- Your account — deleted on request, along with the projects and files attached to it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can object to processing and ask for a portable export. Write to privacy@relivo.ch and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the EU or EEA and are unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to your local data protection authority; in Switzerland, to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
Security
Everything travels over TLS. Project data is separated per account at the database level, so one account cannot read another's rows. Payment credentials never reach our servers. No system is perfect, and if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you and the relevant authority within the required time.
Children
relivo is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will say so by email or in the app before it takes effect, not by quietly editing this page. The date at the top always reflects the last substantive change.
